The architecture of the system is shown below.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.noisemap.ltd.uk\/wpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Slide1.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-761\" src=\"http:\/\/www.noisemap.ltd.uk\/wpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Slide1-300x225.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"446\" height=\"335\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.noisemap.ltd.uk\/wpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Slide1-300x225.gif 300w, http:\/\/www.noisemap.ltd.uk\/wpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Slide1-768x576.gif 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 446px) 100vw, 446px\" \/><\/a>We offer our\u00a0own &#8216;cloud&#8217; server which lets you work on the same model with many users in different places, or you can set up your own system by means of software that we supply.<\/p>\n<p>You do not have to use an external server. \u00a0NoiseMap&#8217;s built-in technology can operate from a local flat-file database, which appears as an ordinary Windows file.\u00a0 The user interface is practically identical once you are connected, although some options, such as multi-user access and distributed computing are not available.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.noisemap.ltd.uk\/wpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Slide2.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-762\" src=\"http:\/\/www.noisemap.ltd.uk\/wpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Slide2-300x225.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"388\" height=\"291\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.noisemap.ltd.uk\/wpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Slide2-300x225.gif 300w, http:\/\/www.noisemap.ltd.uk\/wpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/Slide2-768x576.gif 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 388px) 100vw, 388px\" \/><\/a>With the &#8216;server&#8217; database, users can be located anywhere: all that is needed is a network or internet connection to the server. The databases are protected by user names and passwords and are also encrypted.
