The features described in this website relate to the latest version<\/strong> of NoiseMap.\u00a0\u00a0Our\u00a0products are updated at intervals to\u00a0add new features\u00a0or to correct\u00a0issues.<\/p>\n

Maintenance and support<\/h6>\n

We don’t want new clients to miss out on new features that are brought out just after they have bought NoiseMap, so we\u00a0include 12-months of\u00a0free support and maintenance on most new licences.\u00a0 And to ensure that you continue to receive support and maintenance updates, you can optionally renew the maintenance contract at the end of the 12-month period.<\/p>\n

If your maintenance lapses, you can continue to use any version issued within your maintenance period, until you licence expires. But if you later want to\u00a0upgrade to a later version, please contact us<\/a> about renewal terms, as you may need to backdate maintenance payments or buy a new licence.<\/p>\n

Compatibility between versions<\/h6>\n

Whilst we try to maintain upwards compatibility, so that a newer version of NoiseMap will work with an older noise model\/database, it is often impracticable to maintain backwards compatibility – a newer noise model may not work with an older version of NoiseMap.\u00a0 We would strongly recommend that you do not use different versions of NoiseMap on the same model.<\/p>\n

Current version of NoiseMap five is v5.2.10, released\u00a029th October 2018
\n<\/strong>This fixes a problem found only by users of Windows 7 who upgraded to NoiseMap 5.2.9.\u00a0 Windows 7 has a different method of allocating memory compared with Windows 10.\u00a0 However, it is compatible with Windows 10 and users may wish to upgrade.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

ISO9613-2 Barrier Calculation
\n<\/strong>The headline feature in this release is\u00a0a new\u00a0ISO9613-2 barrier<\/strong> calculation<\/strong> option.\u00a0 This option is part of the SiteNoise Calculation module, which is based on BS5228 with enhancements.<\/p>\n

If you are using NoiseMap five and your maintenance is current, then by going to the Help menu in NoiseMap, you can connect directly to our download site and obtain the latest version.<\/p>\n

If your maintenance has expired, please contact us<\/a> for a quote, stating the number of\u00a0your security dongle and which version of NoiseMap you are using.<\/p>\n
