New series of video guides

There are now twelve episodes in the NoiseMap series.  These short videos, hosted on YouTube, talk you through the steps involved in creating a noise model from a simple sketch of a housing scheme alongside a road, calculating results and designing a noise barrier.  More episodes will follow.

Episode 1 – import a sketch into NoiseMap and to model a road.

Episode 2 – put housing into the model and to enter receiver points.

Episode 3 – calculate noise levels at a receiver point.

Episode 4 – calculate noise contours.

Episode 5 – describes Categories and Combinations

Episode 6 – processing noise contours

Episode 7 – add a noise barrier & design it to achieve a target level

Episode 8 – using NoiseMap to optimise a noise barrier

Episode 9 – use a noise measurement to calibrate a noise model and create noise contours

Episode 10 – create and use a 3-D view of your model and results

Episode 11 –  create 3-D views of noise models
